What follows here is a basic pricing guide to allow you to get some idea of how much your commission will cost.

Please bear in mind pricing is flexible, the range's listed below are given as a ball park figure and, depending on what you want, in some rare circumstances it may exceed the given figures. As a general rule; the larger a model the more it will cost, the more of the same type you have the cheaper they will be. Likewise, the more detail you require, such as unit numbering or designs, will also increase the price.

Standard Army Painting

Standard Army Painting normally revolves around basecoats, a wash and a highlight or two depending on the model. If you wish for more in depth painting than that, please be clear in your initial request for a quote, and bear in mind it will increase the price.

Standard Infantry Model : £3.50 - £6

Elite Infantry Model  : £5 - £8

Standard Mounted Model : £7 - £10

Monstrous Infantry Models : £8 - £12

Small Vehicles / Monsters : £20 - £30

Large Vehicles / Monsters : £30 - £50

Characters £10 - £15

Optional Extras

Building :

Troops : £1 - £2

Vehicles / Monsters : £5 - £20

Movement Trays : £2

Freehand (for things such as banners, shield designs etc) : Charged on a case by case basis, please be clear about what you want in your initial request for a quote.

Conversions : You set the budget for bits needed to be used in the conversions and we will work within that to produce a unique finished product. On top of that there will be an additional charge for our work producing the conversions, this will be at least the same again as any building charge, maybe more depending on how extreme a conversion you desire.

Unique Army Painting

With years of experience and many Best Army Awards we are also adapt at produce entirely unique, wholly converted and masterly painted best army standard armies. If you have something in mind, or merely want to outshine everyone else, then get in touch! These armies are charged on a case by case basis dependant upon how much work needs to be undertaken.

Display Standard

Display standard models are charged entirely on a case by case basis. As a rough guide we charge around £10 per hour with each project taking at least 10+ hours worth of painting, we will agree a price up front, and if it takes longer we wont charge more than the original quote.

Painting Tutorials

We do offer painting tuition from some of our expert painters with years of experience. Painting lessons are charged at £12.50 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours. We do have a venue in Manchester where we can offer these lessons in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Alternatively we are willing to travel, though if required to travel any significant distance you may be asked to cover the cost of time (at half the hourly rate) travel and/or accommodation as appropriate.

Postage

We do charge for postage. The minimum for this is £5 for all small orders within the UK. You may be asked to pay more for a large order or if you live abroad - we will discuss it with you before we start your project. Any excess over what we ask for we will cover ourselves.
